    Funny as that sounds, a friend of ours and her sister came over last evening. The friend is from the San Diego mountains and her sister lives on one of the islands off Washington State. We walked them out when they left and the sister just about evaporated while my wife and I were saying how it almost felt decent out...of course that was all relative and not above 110 at the time.

    Humidity plays a big part. It was 107 yesterday,104 in the shade. Hot. But humidity was extremely low.

    I was looking one last time before I went to bed and it was 12%. We're at 35% right now but that should be going down as the sun starts coming up. I'll be loading and chaining down the excavator in about an hour and I'm pretty confident I'll be soaked by the time we get done.
