My kid was at the right age for Zoey 101 it was silly. Zoey is Britney Spears' younger sister. She got knocked up at 16, so the show ended.

I hate to risk jinxing my good fortune, but it's been a nice, quiet, peaceful week here at work (so far) Plan is in motion. There are a few members here that carry a LOT of clout and influence. The boss has been known to piss off everyone he comes in contact with. Most of the time I try to prevent him from diving headfirst into the shallow end of the pool. That ain't happenin'....I'm making sure he deals directly with a few of the heavy hitters, and doing everything in my power to see that he does stuff that will REALLY piss 'em off. It may or may NOT change things when he mistreats employees, but when he starts on some big bux fat cat with an attitude......well.....the outcome may be different.

    ie......Give him enough rope, and........

THAT said, 8 hours from now, I walk out the door for a 2-day weekend (which doesn't happen very often) It's our anniversary. We have a winery we go to for dinner that we really like. There's also a local band that we really like. Coincidentally, that band is playing tonight at the winery.....And I have 2 tickets!

Good morning and TGIF (for some of us)

Images and movie files will do it pretty quickly. Treesize Free is good stuff https://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/

We are in the middle of migrating all the images from legacy systems into one common repository and new app. Will be at a Petabyte soon if not already there. Somehow just the sound of Petabyte seems dirty to me. When you consider backing that much data up, redundancy and High Availability it is a dirty word LOL.

Kim Rhode shoots International Skeet today and has the chance to be the first summer Olympic athlete to medal in 6 Olympic games. Doubt the media will give her much attention or coverage as it is shooting but I hope she smokes every one of those birds! Saw her win Gold in 96 in Atlanta. They did away with Women's Double Trap in the Olympics or she would stand a chance of winning that too.

Have to run to the Credit Union this morning and get a Money Order in the mail. Been in negotiations with a gentleman for an Ithaca 37T Trap prewar (1940) that has been refinished by the head gunsmith of Ithaca Gun. Should have it in my hands next week. I'm "pumped"! :D

Love an old 37. And that stock is gorgeous! Most of the Ithaca's I've seen lately just have plain-jane birch furniture. Congratulations

You're absolutely right that we won't see much about it (if anything) on the news, though.
Stupid. She deserves her recognition for that sort of work.

Beautiful gun! I wouldn't mind having that one even if it isn't one of my Remington's. I've got six 870's and 3 1100's. And one old Browning that was my dads... Don't know what the obsession with 'em is....My rifles are all over the board....many brands. But shotguns...? Just Remington and dads gun.
