    Thank you Mike, the salt air is brutal on things and it's a constant battle . The front is pushing thru and is making the job acutually enjoyable. I work 4 - 10n's for the local government and I'm off tomorrow so now that it is cooling down some it's time to get caught up with Various projects and we will be opening our Windows's for the first time since late May. It's feels good. Hang in there and some how stay strong . I experienced seeing my dad Pass on from lung and brain cancer back in 1986. It's not fun. Like Rob mentioned reach out if you need to vent.

    Tomorrow is Veterans Day but 40 years ago today the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior. I pass Gitche Gumee park every time I go to the North Shore of Lake Superior. Some pretty wicked storms in that area all the way up to the BWCA blow downs. Anyone remember Gordon Lightfoot's song about her?

    Been in the Kingdom many times and never knew that was there.

    I used to hunt National Forest in the South between Stratton and Arlington. Pretty big chunk of woods and I used to hike to some remote areas. I was always fascinated by the things I came across in the woods from a long time ago.
    Lime kilns, charcoal pits, old road beds, cellar holes, orchards and grave markers.
    Who lived and worked these placed 100-200 yrs ago? Must have been a hard life,esp. with all the infant and children's grave markers. I understand most of Vt. was treeless back then.

    One time, while poking around some cellar holes, I almost bought the farm when one leg went thru some brush over an old well.
    If I fell in, I think I would still be missing.
    Lesson learned. Cellar holes=nearby well holes.

    It is 12:01 here so too late for Good Morning but Happy Veterans day also!

    Happiness is hearing the word "Remission" against all odds and no more chemo for now :yay: PET scan every 3 months for the next year to check on remission status and lots of other appointments coming up to take care of some things yet. Time for a nappy now LOL.

    Pup turns 1 yo tomorrow think I'll take the day off from work and go get him some pheasants down around Iowa border for his birthday if the weather is decent.
