They have their place, but you can't go cheap...if you buy one, you commit to having them serviced regularly and by techs who know their stuff. And you pay for it. That's the only issue with them IMGOBO, it's not a DIY'r vehicle. That's why I cut Kristi off from the hybrid model when we bought the Highlander; funny part is, we've taken to having both vehicles serviced at the dealers lately.

Last night's report from the call in to the nurse's station: Fever is down, ate a little dinner, not complaining of any pain, drawing more blood in the morning. Should get culture results back today on bacteria type. Phone call last night with Dad: He's confused. Didn't know he had dinner. He said he doesn't want to die in the hospital - "take me home so I can die there". Eyes water up typing this...

Based on his condition, I don't think it's his time yet but watching the decline is never easy. Hematologist is supposed to see him today to discuss the jaundice condition.

Good morning. Yeah it is Monday. Want to go back to bed.

Woodcock frequently are in the same area as ruff grouse and most grouse hunters also hunt timberdoodles. They are difficult to cook but when done right are great. Not a lot of them pass through the North Shore of Lake Superior in migration theory is they can't fly over the worlds largest fresh water lake. But 2 years ago hit the largest flight of them I had ever seen as I was driving out of the woods one night. Looked like little X wing fighters in the headlights and realized why they are so damn hard to hit watching them fly in front of me.

We save our woodcock for at least one meal in SD pheasant hunting. We were just emailing back and forth about it. And someone mentioned don't let the Admiral cook the toast he burnt 3 batches one year. His reply\defense was that alcohol may or may not been involved.

Gloomy weather today. No work today, dermatologist later today. Gota get new chain for chainsaw. Beans need to picked. Yesterday we had the last of salmon made on grill. :hungry:. Friday taking off work. Once a year I get together with a group of guys and take a charter boat on Lake Michigan, catch a few fish and just have a good time.

    Prayers for your dad.

    Morning all
Sounds like good news about the infection.

Went through a rough patch with Mom at the beginning of the year, the had given her Morphine and it wiped out her memory for about 2 months. I was Antoine for some reason.
Now she is 93, in a home near me lost 20 lbs and has most of her memory back, like Mike said one day at a time.

    Antoine...lol
