once again you are the Grill Man. waitin on wife to get home im grillin NY Strips with fresh pot of garden greenbeans

 

I start getting optimistic this time of year.
Get rid of the remaining Venny to make room for the new.
It's almost like putting the whammy on yourself.

 

Think i invented a new recipe. leftover rice from chinese take out. started out as homemade fried rice but added tomato after carrot,celery& onion and slingin spices finished with an egg. Spanish Fried Rice!!

 

That's "ride the unicorn through the enchanted forest" perfect.

Currently 111° and a light breeze blowing !!

There's a large brush fire near Corona Ca in the Cleveland Nat Forest which is nearing 1k acres . I'm about 50 miles North of it but the Smoke plume has created a large pyrocumulus cloud

This cloud is tall enough that it looks like the Mtns near me are on fire as I can clearly see the Smoke plume and I'm at just under 4k ft elev . I first thought the Cajon Pass was on fire

Evening friends. After another round of tests and IV antibiotics, they discharged Dad this evening. The jaundice is from his heart valves and associated leakage breaking down the red blood cells. His infection is kidneys and now that the fever broke for a day, he'll be treated via oral antibiotics. He's happy to be home in his recliner. Still sick and weak but happy. Has to see the Oncologist/Hematologist for his blood issues followed up by the cardiology valve specialist.

 

...there's no place like home. Glad he's back.
