Sweet! I remember when the pickups were easily accessible and people were dropping sbc's with TH350's as daily drivers and a few were hotrodded. Don't see many of them anymore.

 

This Studebaker is an ex drag race car with a best time of 10.7x in the quarter

 

This car show im at is maybe 10 min from Lucerne Valley , there's a lot of nice cars here !!

 

When I was stationed up in Washington I had a '73 Vega I wanted to drop a small block into then got orders for Germany and sold it. But I do have the Harleys...

 

Just got home from the car show and had a lot of fun !! . On the way home guess who followed me ?? , yep it was that early 50's blown BBC Studebaker !! . the look on other motorists faces at stop lights was priceless thinking were were going to race

The sound of both my Camaro and the Studebaker idling together at stoplights or just driving side by side on the street was awesome . Even another car show participant pulled up next to us and yelled are you guys going to race !!

 

That's why i like Chevy engines , you can make stupid hp #'s with LS based engine . I've been tossing around a plan to build either 6 litre LS3 or LS6 engine then run a single 98mm turbo . You can easily make 1400plus rwhp with this combo and both the tq and hp curves would be flat as can be all the way to 7k plus rpm on as little as 14lbs boost

None of the video I seen showed any of the aerial stunts or the F15's.

 

This may be the one that does something. It's headed west with a slight southwest track. Looks like Phoenix and that area is getting a good shot out of it. If it'll hold together it may get some good water on the ground.

I never got into wine which, ironically enough, my brother and his wife grow wine grapes in NorCal.

 

I don't watch it on tv. I do a fast scroll on line.
