My boss knows when I ask for a person to go out on some of my higher risk projects it's so I'll have someone there that can point the coroner in the right direction of the body before the buzzards and coyotes show up.

Good evening folks. Started the day by going over some possible problems as to why the batteries on the solar array are dropping faster than the sun can recharge them then drove an hour and 45 minutes to see what the host was talking about. Then told him you cannot run an ac full time and 2 small refrigerators and a small freezer, plus a microwave and whatever else is in there all at the same time. Brought the fuel trailer back to fix and fuel it up (@$2.99/ga in Yuma vs. $3.99/ga in Blythe). The on/off key switch died so bypassed it, wired direct, works like a charm. Then back out to the field to a campground because the water wouldn't shut off at one of the sinks in a restroom. Since it was at a area with lift stations I didn't want the lift stations cycling more than they needed to so went out, broke the mineral buildup loose from the valve under the sink and shut off the water. Going back out probably Saturday to pull it apart, soak in CLR and reassemble...good OT day.

 

Yep, I got maybe a half dozen working for me across CONUS. I have less issues with the German Works Council.

 

I’m in a truckstop that was kinda famous back in the 70s. Was even featured in a couple movies. Now I feel kinda like when I first started driving, cause I’m the youngest one in here. Not a good sign for the future.

When I worked avionics on C130s one of the compass systems had two c/b(s) on the very bottom of the panel separated from the main system breakers ... crews were always missing them. Fun going out on launch sequence "red ball" jobs to push in those two little buttons for the zipper suited sun gods.
