Until I get used to taking this little thing... alarm is set for 8 am and 8 pm to take it. Don't want to take it earlier, cause I don't want to have to get up early on days off to take it. BTDT and don't want to do it again!! If I take it later, then could be in the middle of something @ work and not be able to take it, so this seemed like the best time.....

 

So usually somewhere around 0430 (0400-0500) and 1730.

 

Hey sue im off all my meds except 3. but if your talking the heart meds,i take one to slow heart rate i would skip it till next dose wouldnt want to double those up!!

 

Yes, take it at times that are conventient for you. Sometimes I get off track but fall into a new cycle that's usually close enough to be covered by a slight overlap. When I change my work schedule to work with the seasons better it's usually about an hour difference. Once you get it in your system there residual to cover the overlap. I cleared that with the doc. He just warned about getting them too close too many times so it won't mess up the organs.

If it's a pill you can split it.

If it is a capsule, skip it

 

How many were you on? for getting off some!! I was told to skip a "missed dose" but nothing says how late I can take what could be a missed dose. and No doubling up.

I already only take half 2x a day (subject to change on Monday)

 

when i had the Afib i was on 3 heart pills..one to slow the heart rate(atenalol)one blood thinner,and one rythym med (flecenite).now only on the one to slow heart rate which is in the 60,s..he took me off the others!so colesterol,blood pressure and atenalol is all i have nowthe rythymn med and bloodthinner were twice a day

Ah, old man heart chat. Yep I'm in the club now too. I thought my breathing challenges on the treadmill were due to many years of inhaled pollutants, whether accidentally in the shop, in the field, or, umm, on purpose. Took about 6 months to finally get in for a stress test, and lucky I did...



Doc said it was about 95% occlusion in the LAD, aka, the widow maker. Got real lucky.

 

I hope and assume they fixed it?
