Yeah so far with all of our electrical shutdowns everything has come back up with very few problems. Knock on wood.

Found out on my anniversary date my vacation hours take a big jump up. Nobody seems to know how much and can't find it in the policy book. No worries I'm sure I'll find a way to use it up:thumbsup:

You know Bob this is one if not the most favorite parts of my job here @ the university. The emotion of family. Freshman being away from their parents for the first time. It's awesome to get a call while the parents are moving kids in, everything is a huge deal because they want everything to be perfect. After I rectify their concern the look of relief on their faces makes my day! The other day I watched as a Mother and Daughter were saying their good byes hugging each other for a good minute or two. Daughter was an early arrival appeared to be a marching band member. Anyhow, as they went in separate directions, the Daughter was skipping her way back to her dorm, the Mother was walking very slowly back to their car. The Father was well ahead of her and in the car as the Mother continued walking slowly to their car, looking back several times wiping her eyes. This is what it's all about for me. I do the best I can to take care of the kids while they are here because I am a parent as well and would expect the same. Good luck to your Daughter!

    Good for you.
    I lost a week.
    And lost 2 sick days...
Have gone racing once and our upcoming anniversary trip has wiped it all out. I fact I need to use up my sick days. So if you get more live it up cause someone is looking to take it away from you.

Happy Sunday morning friends. I helped my wife's friend clean the garage and basement yesterday. Made a dump run. She put a bid on a house in the low country of SC. She's not into selling any of it so I wound up with a bit that I can't see going into a dumpster.

The humidity finally broke up here... :woot:

Nice not having the ac=$$ running for once.

Was at the beach earlier. Northeast winds making the Sound a bit Sporty.
