Happy Sunday morning friends. I helped my wife's friend clean the garage and basement yesterday. Made a dump run. She put a bid on a house in the low country of SC. She's not into selling any of it so I wound up with a bit that I can't see going into a dumpster.

The humidity finally broke up here... :woot:

    I use to have 4.

Then when the company folded and I went to this place and they let me keep my 4.
    They sold
    Lost a week
But I kept my 3 weeks on my hire date.
Now it accumulates from your hire date so to become a 3 week a year vacation and get my racing in I need to not take one for a year. Then on my date I’ll have 3 like I had before. So technically I’m always chasing that third week. I can owe them that week but if I leave I won’t get a last paycheck.
So I’m not sure how this is going to play out. I have to work 5 months now to get one week so do the math.

Creative math...gotta love it. I guess when they don't care about morale it works for them. I'm still waiting to see how our impending re-org is going to work out. There are still a bunch of unknowns that the ones who are supposed to know don't know...we'll see.

Found one of those bad boys in our kitchen a few nights ago. Youngest dog was trying to grab it. It developed a case of 14EEE and got stomped. (The wasp, not the dawg)

It is an unfortunate situation which will be rectified by the end of the day. I did have a sausage and egg breakfast sammich handy. Though not quite the same it did the trick for now.

So, not a welder by trade (or even after a stay at Holiday Inn Express), what do you guys that have welded aluminum see as the differences between welding aluminum and steel.

So, a little background, I have been kicking around plans for a "square drop" trailer. Like a tear drop but not round....anyway, I'm looking for strength, lower weight and simplicity with the add on mechanicals...looking at 3 slideouts. So a lot of 1" square, a little 2" angle is going into the framing.

Just finished Fluid Filming the F'n'J.
Pretty painless and took all of 15 minutes.
    No mess either.
I'll do the Taco and CRV as well as Sis and BIL's 3 vehicles at a later date when it cools down.
Just wanted to see how much material I need. I used a quart today and I went heavy.
