First day of rifle season last year, a truck was riding up and down the road with the sound of a barking dog on a loud speaker. Only happened one pass up and back the way they came. Thinking they were part of an anti hunting group. Takes big nads or stupidity to do this. Have a good story of years ago of a great Uncle of mine.

A few years back some fools put nails in the the road along a state forest the night before opening day gun season. Lots of people got flat tires, hunters, nonhunters and police. They had use a snowplow to break off the nails.

Just a hint of fall in the air this morning. 65 degrees. Mid 50's tomorrow morning. Back in the oven by Saturday though. Enjoy it while it last's I guess.

Our new boss is finally getting past the honeymoon phase. He was handed a spread sheet yesterday that includes the ridiculous financial plan for 10 year improvements to the clubhouse. These were created in the fantasy world mind of our previous manager, who was fired for being a moron. We are expected to make approximately 7.5 million worth of improvements for 1.6 mil.

    This won't end well.....

Hunting is not a problem, when I was mountain bike riding and I see guys in camo with bows, I was just glad I wasn't wearing my antler helmet.

There is no remote area that doesn't include hiking trails, but plenty of deer to hunt. I am amazed there arent confilcts here

Damn. Brings back some good old memories... little kid spending Saturdays at Babcia's 4-flat on the South Side... little AM radio blaring the Polka station all day long, and me fetching Old Styles for Prababcia, one after the other. Good times.
