1976. Drank a case of PBR 16 ouncers in one hour on a $20 bet. I was legal drinking age at the time. Won the bet but did a couple of purges while doing it. To this day the thought of PBR still gives me the heaves. But it was around that time someone remarked that I might just be qualified for the Navy. It was good training for the San Miguel shits. And a few others that I can't pronounce but they left a lasting impression on me. To never drink them again. Of course Genesee piss water, Shitty Schlitz, and Iron City beer were all up there.

Rainier Beer was better and had the best commercials. The classic, but one of many.

Did get some shopping in today. Started with 7 lbs. of bacon thick for eating and thin for wrapping things.

    bacon.jpg

Good start. They also had bone in ribeye on sale. Butcher said he has only seen them 4 times since he has worked there. Prime grade of course. Other stores charge as much for Choice grade.

    Tomahawk.jpg

Too much meat for just me to eat by myself so need to freeze it until someone comes along that I can cook for 2 or more. Filled the gap between the 2 with plenty of other meat. Like a Prime grade Ribeye roast, should be able to get 4 meals out of this one.

Think might try to smoke some miniature fatties tonight on the gasser. Bacon wrapped medium spiced sausage filled with ham, onions and peppers with garlic. Or Oink Oink Oink in the garden.

I would love to see one in the wild myself. I think the big cats are amazing.
