Well first they wanted to see it, then touch it,then play with it. I was a little nervous since no one has done that before. In the end I felt pretty good about it. :headbang:

Morning meeting just suck. Good or bad. Sets a bad tone for the day. Pounding the same thing every morning gets old very fast.
    I've cut a filter O ring. Happens.
Loose wheel from a younger tech other day. You don't interrupt someone doing their job for foolishness. Poor kid feels real bad. So I explained the "stopping point" mindset.

    morning y'all,

As some might guess from my name I like/ride bicycles for recreation exercise, and social activity. Since I retired three years ago a close friend bike shop owner asked me to work some in his shop so occasionally I will work a little doing what I call polishing turds (you know, no matter how much or hard you rub them they never come out shiny and new!) aka, repairing beat up bicycles. Lately I haven't worked at the shop so much cause the owner had a poor married college student who needed the hours and income for the summer working (which is fine with me cause I like my free time). So this week the owner asked me to come in two days to help him out with some stuff. Yesterday I worked a full day and today I am going back in. Nothing hard or really strenuous but constant and busy from the moment I walk in till 6:30 when I leave. Last night I came home, drank two beers and fell asleep on the couch! My wife looked over and said wow, you look really tired, and I mumbled something and went back to sleep.

Understand I'm not complaining but rather making remarks about my laziness. Used to be nothing to work 60 hours a week, then travel and play outside on the weekend starting on friday afternoon and home after midnight on Sunday and then starting all over on Monday morning. Now, even if I had the desire, I think that kind of schedule would kill me. Got to leave in a few minutes to go work another full day and feeling rather lackluster about the experience already!

So the bad news is I have to work another day. The good news is my house isn't flooded, wildfires aren't raging about me, my back doesn't hurt so much I can barely walk, I'm not recovering from surgery, family is all healthy (today), I got plenty to eat, and the dog still loves me......I need to spend more time counting my blessings or sharing what is good than whining about silly stuff that doesn't matter much in the long run.

So off my soap box and wishing you all another wonderful day, may it be better than the last.

    B

    Morning everyone !!

Just as I predicted the massive Blue Cut fire has grown to 30k acres overnight and had destroyed alot of structures . Hopefully with it being sunrise a little while ago they've got the air tankers back in the air dropping Foschek where it's needed badly

I hope so as right now it is threatening the ski resort town of Wrightwood . The fire is so massive it's 15miles long from the southern flank to it's Northern flank
