Did the weedeater trimming today. Cleaned up rest of porch joists; caulk still a little tacky, so give it another day before paint. Wx still looks good thru mid next week. I'll wait to reinstall deck boards this next weekend. Not getting any sun because shadow of house makes everything take forever to dry.

Kristi has convinced me to go to last day of fair. Hope I don't regret it. o_O
NO, at least not that cat.

    Looks delicious!

Quite the T-storm in Chicago today. Had an actual power outage for an hour or two. As much as I have to complain about this town (and there is a lot), one thing I haven't been able to get too unhappy with is the stability of the electric delivery. I think this was the 3rd outage we've had here in the last 8 years.

Turned the TV on tonight and watched the news for first time in a LONG time.

Local news wasn't so bad except for the commercials. Marigold Days next weekend at a nearby town with a car show and Bingo. Tractor show a few miles to the South if that isn't excitment enough for ya.

Segment on preparing for the annual painting of the Freedom Rock down in Iowa for Veterans Day.

National news came on next. Didn't make it 5 minutes before I had enough and turned it off.
