It is not as bad as it used to be. The worst part of the exam is the prep and even that is not so bad. Make sure the anesthetist uses "milk"-that's the Michael Jackson drug. You won't feel or remember anything about the procedure even though you've just had a garden hose ran up your tailpipe!

:) Finally a thread that I can feel at home with. I'm another old fart of 55, came in 57. A lot of nice things were made in 57, Chevys, Fords, the C-130 was adopted into the AF, the M-60 was adopted as the squad level MG. I wish I could have kept all my toys of my youth and sell them now days. We had the original Hot Wheels, and the Big Wheels, we had toy guns that shot caps or projectiles, we had chemistry kits and wood burning kits, and stuff made by Mattel and Marx, like army men and tanks and real GI Joes. Comics were a dime, coke and pepsi's were a dime and in a bottle. Milk was in a Bottle, and delivered to your house. TV was maybe 3 channels, and radio was fun to listen to with live DJ's you could talk to. We had Schwinn Stringray's bike with banana seats and cards in the spokes for motorcycle sounds. Lunch at school was 35 cents, and we had cool lunchboxes that are now worth big bucks. Gas was 29 cents for high test and oil was 75 cents a quart. Color TV's were for rich folks on the block and Air conditioning didn't happen till the 70's.
And kids think they are cool with their I-pads and X-boxes, we had pinball machines. and We saw Arcade games come and go, as we have seen beer and cigarettes names and car company's disappear. We have lost our 5 and 10 stores, and our local mom and pop stores on the corners.
    Dman, I hate gettin Old.........
