But it is a dry cold. So damn cold it has to be dry, air can't hold any moisture at those temps. And where else in CONUS can you live and say it is colder than most of Canada and Alaska, at least where people live. And once in awhile colder than the surface of Mars.

Screw that shit, I need a winter place in the South. My bones are hurting just thinking about it.

Too bad they can't find a business manager and let the fabricators fabricate. :(

Finally getting things done. Tile guy is here regrouting the shower and I got him looking at the next job...taking the tub out of the other bathroom and turning it in to a walk in shower. We have a sunken tub in the master bath, we don't take baths so we'll leave the big one in just incase we decide to sell or grandbabies come to visit and need a tub.

It's probably something I should be doing myself but I just don't want to spend all that time in the shower. Plus I'm having him add tiles where the contractors who built the house stopped a little short.

This reminded me of my 7 yrs in England. My first 4 1/2 yrs there I'd come back stateside two to three times a year; either Scott AFB, IL (St Louis) or McGuire AFB, NJ (Philadelphia), once to Hanscom, MA (Boston)...always in Summer months. Learned the first year that sleeping in the AC would get me sick; opened the base lodging windows and slept in the heat sweating. Not the most comfortable, but I didn't get sick. :notsure:

Before all the tile stopped at the threshold, so that was extended out and he did the regrouting. Waiting on an estimate for the other bath then we'll have him do the kitchen back splash and my skylight in the laundry room sometimes leaks when we get a heavy rain with heavy wind. He even does commercial so if I need anything at work he can do that also.
