i hope so buddy i was watching the news and wrried about you. i don't want to see you on the news as one of the poor souls who's lost things that are special to them some things you can never replace. if i were threatened by something like that i'd be grabbing all the pictures of the girls i could find all my guns and stuff can be replaced that's what we have insurance for unless it's like a couple of my guns were my grandfather's

 

thing that scares me about you hanginon is they say it's moving so irratically and fast

I'm okay so far and like I've mentioned as as long as the winds are from out of the SSW or SSE I'm okay for the the time being . I'm constantly checking my weather app and checking fire updates and walking outside to check the on the smoke plume

Believe me I will high tail it out of there the first sign of trouble . This fire is the worst I've seen in 15 years and the fact it's still 0 containment with 66k acres proves it

 

what if your asleep though and the wind changes?

 

I'm a light sleeper and I've got friends with my ph# who live close by and in the same predicament . The distance I'm from the fire gives me May be 2-3 hrs if winds shift or if it spots

Tell me to mind my own business but things should have been moved 2 days ago. I know material stuff is just that but if it was me the car, guns, keepsakes, etc would have been relocated. Hurrying to bug out your going to be dealing with everyone one else on the road.

it's none of my buisness either chuck but i believe i'd be putting all my valuables in the truck and heading for safety so your not caught up in the crowd if they evacuate. i got caught like that 1 time having to evacuate the beach for a hurricane and it was a nightmare. hopefully you've got a friend you could get to store the car a few days we're just worried about your safety

 

Needed to tweak string height. The string adj was to much for the strings. So I had to put regular tuners
On her. Not what I wanted but no choice.

I've got a bug out bag packed , important paperwork in large file box , firearms and pet carriers for my cats . All of these items are ready to go out the door and in.my truck in less than 5 min . My Camaro I've got collector car insurance and insured at agreed value . If I've got to leave it behind I will but do also have a friend to help move it for me
