50+ thread

Thanks Chris... not looking to go anywhere as long as the storm stays on the same path. Most we're currently supposed to get is 35 mph winds with 50 mph gusts. It's the NC folks I'm worried about

 

yeah I know , I was just remembering the fun I had with employees !!


I also remember when I asked a new mechanic to help me back up and park (5) brand new International 4400series 24' box trucks with Waltco Rail lifts . He told me he had experience with Bobtail trucks so I told him to park them two deep and the next row to be 20" apart ( mirror to mirror)

he told me that's easy so I let him move the trucks by himself while I went back in the shop . Not more than a few minutes later I hear a loud crash and run back outside to see a new truck with the nose torn off and coolant everywhere . I also see damage to the rail lift of the truck he was driving and I'm yelling at him to stop . I finally get to the truck he's driving , I open the door and ask him if he had any clue what he did wrong and he had no idea


He lasted 4 hours before he was fired and this was his first day !!

 

I must say just from reading his posts on the Pelfreybilt thread showed what an he is. The likes are over 60 now so that just goes to show you.

 

I like the Udderly Chocolate. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is not too bad either.

All this ice cream talk is making me hungry.
Tommorow I will have to do a ice cream run before work. I have to go to a funeral first.

Goid morning! Christie flying out to Sanoma tomorrow so I’ll be mostly alone until Sunday. She flies back Saturday late through the hurricane I can’t say I’m happy about that

 

Impressive yet horrible pucture. I’ll never forget that day I onow exactly where I was and what I was doing. It never stops suprising me how complacent our society can be and how many seemingly forget what happenned

 

Whole lotta people livin like it was Sept 10th

 

This is our local memorial, 18 folks from the area were lost that day.
