Wedding anniversary weekend. Took the Krauts to a party at a hipster bar, then 2 more bars on the way home. The drinks were flowing like a river. What a great time. (Yes, mom, we Ubered.)

And today I am reminded that I am not a young man anymore.

I'm considering a garage ac unit. Maybe a swamp cooler. I swore I'd at least install vents and have yet to do it. I'd like to put in one of the self contained solar vents but I really don't want to cut a hole in the roof. It would be quite a project. So I'd have to mount it through the side door and make a bracket for the panel and extent the wiring...another project. It is very well insulated and it gets really hot in the summer so it's almost a necessity. So if I did just the ac unit it would be about the easiest way.

Jawohl. Usually go at this time of year so we can hit the O'fest. Although to be honest, there is always some kind of fest going on in Munich, or the rest of Bavaria for that matter. But visiting the Wies'n proper is an experience I recommend to everyone. I prefer the Oide Weis'n section myself: fewer tourists. ;)

Just one week from today and... O'zapft is!

    That's an awesome pic !!!

That couch looks crowded LOL !!

You should see what my three cats do with my recliner couch , granted they're nowhere the size of your dogs . When they get comfortable they can take over a 7' couch leaving with little to no room to sit comfortably

Yep expensive repair bills and arrest !!!

That tow trucks frame is possibly damaged /bent and the underlift is destroyed . that pickup almost got away though

I only use Goodyear or Toyota for service on the Tacoma and for the Camaro for what I can do (bad knee's and hips make hard to get on the ground or get back up) I usually have a friend of mine help me )

I do have fun with automotive shops with the Camaro like transmission shops or muffler shops . watching those mechanics try and climb over the door bars of the cage then realize they can't fit into the seat or reach the pedals . Also if they get in easy enough they then can't figure out how to use the ratchet shifter and can't get it into reverse !!!

I usually get the "Sir ....why don't you drive it into the service bay and I'll guide you in"

As for the oil change coupon I'll probably donate it to another car show raffle next week

I was going to run some errands and then come home and nap, then this happened
    15370456410091082217925.jpg

He hasn't jumped in my lap for a few weeks. So nap it is!

I was there in 85 on a European vacation, we just happened to be in Munich in October and I was in prime beer drinking shape. My brother and I walked out of one tent and there was a group of teens puking their guts out...good times, good times.
Be nice Chuck, give it to someone, dont be mean.
