    Good morning folks. Work today. Now that it's not 120 degrees, we're going back to working on the memorial. Prior to summer we got it layed out, rock in place so we just need to grout it in the rocks and set the stone for the plaque. So I picked up 5 bags of grout and a few more tools yesterday afternoon. Looking for 106 degrees today so not sure how long we'll work.

    I was talking to my son yesterday. Most of y'alls rain happened while he was out here at NTC all month. He said he got home to a downpour to where they were hardly moving on the highway from the airport to the house.

    And, sadly but expected, we had our first death of the season. A gentleman in his 90's passed yesterday. He'd been coming out for over 20 years and said he'd die out here. Well, sure enough. And there's a lot to say about being able to go doing what you love doing, may we all be so lucky.
