Well you might be severely disappointed then . That craftsman of mine on 1/4" T6 alum bogs with anything but the lightest push same for steel can get a little heavier with heavier grits but on finish and clean up / polish not so much.

Monday morning I found a Gerber machete on the road. I hit the edge with a fine flapper disc on my 4 1/2" grinder. Cleaned it right up. Looked like they hacked a few rocks with it.

Well you could build your own .. A lot of folks do it and use DC motors from tread mills . TubalCain on youtube is building one from a just a motor and using steel caster wheels for different style plattens (sp) but there is tons of Tread mill motor 2x72 builds out there . This kid is sharp and has a ton of skill like his designs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_RlL1O-bK4

    Evening Everyone !!:hattip:

Just got back from the car show and had a lot of fun !! . Not many cars there tonite as it was cold and windy . There was a very nice clean looking 1963 Plymouth Belvedere Drag Race car with aluminum body panels . This Belvedere had a 426 Wedge with a cross ram and only has 6800 original miles for a 55yr old car and it looked brand new

Yeah want a heart attack look up the pro model 2 x72 umm 1800 ish . But you got a plasma cutter and a welder and finding a dc motor is easy along with the controller for it you can get them on ebay. You can buy wheel kits or make your own or fabricobble wheels out of casters .

Dang 7 hours on a bike, driving on frozen rivers, and trucks going through the ice for a pie?! I’m gonna have to make a trip so I can try it.

You haven't had apple pie till you go to Julian. There are a couple/ few shops there. It's in the mountains above San Diego and a hotspot for street legal motorcycles of every type imaginable. Its in the middle of several loops so riders from all over SoCal ride through. I'd venture to say more than what go to the Rock House.

....or is that the Rockhouse? Been there once on a ride. Seen Schwarzenegger and Leno there. That was before Arnold was governor.

I've been scouting properties out of state lately, and I came across an interesting place down in Indy. It had a lot of appreciable attributes for me, like a 2500 sq ft 60's brick ranch, 3 outbuildings including a 50x80 polebarn, hardwood floors, patio w/gazebo, etc. all sitting on 12 partially wooded acres. Nice. But I couldn't figure out the odd little easement or whatever you call this "landlocked" plat towards the front of the property.

So without digging into the county recorder of deeds and such, I just did a little bit of online map viewing and saw this...

Wait, what? This must be a mistake - plenty of them on these kind of maps, so I took a look on Google Earth and... yep, looks like that's right.

    7350.jpg

Those do appear to be gravestones... right there in the front lawn. But they "belong" to someone else. Yes, we're all familiar with country cemeteries, but I can't say I've seen too many smack dab in the middle of the front yard. I showed it to the rest of the family, and they weren't all that keen on the idea.

The paving company next door was a bit of a minus too. So, looks like we'll pass on this one.

I'd have to pass on that one too.

Now you tell me. I played a gig there a while back at a BBQ place. Small little town. Didn’t see the pie shop.
