    Awesome! Great bit of luck there!! They put on a good show. I have come to terms that my wife and I do not belong in the mosh pit and I’m good with that.

    Well FIL is back from rehabilitation. He's doing good:thumbsup:. But now get this, MIL was at her sisters house yesterday. Some of the cows got loose. She decided she would help. While chasing after the cows she fell, landed on her face. She has a few scratches on her face. She refused to go to doctor:annoyed:. She's 83.
    Wait that's not all.
    Driving home she hit's a deer :facepalm:
    She's ok, cars ok.
    :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

    Good morning all! I’m certainly ready for the weekend! Going to a drum show/clinic tomorrow. Hoping they have something unique that I can’t live without. o_O
    Plus they are having four different clinics. Should be fun. :thumbsup:

    @Bluegrass Taco

    This is why your ladies, or lady friends don’t/won’t hunt or camp with you! A Coleman stove, 1 skillet and 1 pot is all you need to make some great meals with real food stuffs.

    That shit was fine until I was about 57 or 58 or so.

    [IMG]

    Then one night the dog seys to me, Hey your a dumb ass. Work all damn year to do this, whatcha saving your money for? Why the hell did you work so hard to get to the top of the food chain to live like this? Can't take money with you when your dead. Trying to prove your still macho or what? Your a dumb ass. Smart dog.

    So I listened to the dog. Even found him a place with 70's style burnt orange furniture to rest on after a hard day of hunting.

    [IMG]

    Running water with a hot shower and even an indoor shitter. Damn that is nice when there is snow on the ground. Or any other time. Can still grill and act like your camping.

    [IMG]

    Although I do that at home too, ~3 times a week. Sure is nice to sit down at a real table where it is warm and not raining or snowing on you when you eat though.

    [IMG]

    Or cook your Thanksgiving dinner, a grouse you just shot over a stove top. With cast iron. And bacon grease.

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Just saying...

    Don't forget the coffee pot. And scrapple...

    [IMG]

    Although just a portable grate over a fire will also work for some meals.

    [IMG]

    Really like the hunting camp in SD though, the Admiral bought a house and outfitted it proper. Complete with a smoker. At the end of the day it is nice to come back to meat already to pull and plate.

    [IMG]

    Yes a can of baked beans is sitting on my plate, long story LOL.

    Afternoon Everyone !!!!!:hattip:

    Winds are really picking up , sand/dust/tumbleweeds blowing around .Right now seeing 18-30mph gusts from the NNE and temps dropping . I decided not to go to the car show today !! , being the location is right near open Desert range land near Lucerne Valley the blowing sand / dirt will be really bad

    Not really into having my Camaro sandblasted and covered in thick layer of dirt

    So some dumbass :spy: scheduled a boiler inspection last Tuesday. It failed,of course. And 2 bolts broke off in float body,of course. Now we have to order gaskets and pull plates off to see how many tubes are wasted. Oh yeah,winter is coming Sunday and this is a heating boiler not potable. :smack:
    I had to put it back online today.
