Your going to need a big gennie to run all that . Volts *Amps on all those items to get wattage and then add a fudge factor for startup loads. Perhaps get the battery portion of the solar to run the lower draw fridge etc and a gennie just for the AC units ?

I hate to tell you, but unless you have a special transfer switch that solar power cuts off when commercial power goes out. I was going to do solar heat & power until i found out about that wrinkle.

Just a 10,000 btu unit can draw 3600 Watts on startup.

Yes, it's a lot but a it can be condensed pretty easily down to 1 fridge and one freezer. 2 generators isn't out of the question. I have a Predator 8750 at work that is pretty impressive and, at $500, 2 would be easy to do.

That's what I don't know and telling me to not even mess with it and just go spider box and plug in only what's needed.

Yes. They draw a lot at start up.

After taking the strapping off the panels and unloading them I got more and more pissed at the lack of quality , If I had the time would go pick out all my cross beams and then just buy a bunch of pickets and return the crappy ones and unused ones . Just don't have that kind of time. I will shoot some pic's tomorrow but hell I have at least one panel that has big knots in each of the cross beams another one with knots every 2 foot damn near. The panels themselves are not even exactly the same some with pickets overlapping the cross beam , cross beams spaced slightly off dimension so trying to hang perfectly level using the cross beams is a non event just have to go with the tops being level and call it a day.

This by the way is why I like metal I give you dimension to cut it to or buy it at and guess what it is accurate to with in .020 of an inch . If there is a dent, corrosion etc it usually doesn't even leave the yard never mind give it to a customer.

Morning ritual... get up. Get dressed. Get to work. Get unlocked. Get piece of pie from kitchen. Crawl back in warm truck and catch a nap until daylight.

    That's where I'm now.

    Cant stop sneezing.

:hattip: Morning all. No work today. Wife's SIL had been under hospice and passed this weekend. Sad thing is that this is her same brother that had to bury his 30 yo son 18 months ago after a life long battle with CP. Prayers for him and his daughter.
