    No thank you.
As much as the snow and cold can be a pain in the ass I will take it over wildfires and hurricanes.

It is that Global Warming thing Dan. Although this reminds me of the 70's weather in the North. Looks like you got the wind too. Not ready for wind chill of 4 at least it is above zero LOL. Almost zipped my coat up when I went to get the flu shot, did put on a pair gloves. And my lightweight long john bottoms, it is time.

The Woolsey Canyon fire is huge , it's over 14k acres and at 0% containment

There's quite a few fires burning in Norcal also especially the huge Camp fire currently at 70k acres

The humidity is so dangerously low right now with most areas in Socal at or near 3% , I'm at 5% . I've not seen Humidity this low since October of 2003 when most of Socal and San Diego was burning from massive Firestorms

At work, I’m just about a mile from the Griffith Park fire. Outside air is not that great. I think they have that one under control but the others are crazy. I feel just awful for those in Thousand Oaks. First the shooting and now the fires. Apparently, where they had a memorial for the shooting victims is now the shelter for those evacuated.

Same here the residents of Thousand Oaks are really getting hit hard !!!!

I'm watching ABC7 News right now and the footage of this fire is just devastating . Also they're saying that the Red Flag warning has been extended until Tuesday night

Listening to a News conference , the LA County Fire Chief just reported the acreage burned now 35k plus

Where I live on a mountaintop in the Appalachians you couldn't light a fire with a blow torch and a leaf blower. 39 degrees and light rain for days. I'm 55. First post here.
