Edit on Thanksgiving Day plans. Wife is fighting a cold, I’m starting to get it. No one feels like driving 5 hours round trip. Our daughter will come over and we will wing it with a chicken dinner and a awesome dessert the wife made.

We have a range that I'm sure the local "rod and bottle club" has something to do with, or maybe multiple clubs (I have never checked them out)....anyway the range has mutilple sub-ranges for clay, black powder, small caliber, long range...you name it. I have no idea when organized events happen. We go maybe a couple times a year when nobody is apt to be there and send lead down range...sight scopes, let the wife get more familiar with her iron, etc. But I'm sure there are better place closer to the Phoenix area.

Good morning, happy thanksgiving. I went to bed about 1900 lastnight...I was pretty beat. Should finish the parking lot next Tuesday or Wednesday. I should go in Sunday to grease, fuel and blow out filters and knock down the piles. I leave them up over the weekends to discourage the public from trying to use it... just incase all those orange cones and signs don't do the trick.

I thought today was a day off for major companies !! , since late last night the BNSF main rail line between San Bernardino and Barstow yards has been crazy busy !!!!

I've been hearing Freight trains about every 15-30 min on both tracks !!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I'm leaving shortly for my sisters place where I will likely eat myself into a food coma. Possibly more than once.:anonymous:
