Same. Well Mom's apartment is in NC but sister took her back home. Oldest son actually cleaned the kitchen for me on his own including dishes. Both sons said they didn't really care for a Thanksgiving dinner this year. But I wanted one, forgot how much work it was. One ate 2 plates and the other 3 plates. It was worth it.

Work and another Doctor's appointment and tests tomorrow. I'm turning into quite the Sick Bay Commando lately.

Still full but wondering if I can cram in a piece of pie anyhow.

Evening all, hope everyone is fat and happy tonight, thankful for what's left up here of my family, miss them but they won't come back to Florida with me so we have to start the trek home, packed the car up tonight, upper 30s right now with just enough wind to chill me to my bones! Nashville tomorrow night and Sat night with the grandbabies, then back to Fl. on Sunday..

Personally, I'd rather stay here and start home on Sat, but wife wants to love on the grandbabies, before we go home.

Thankful also of the folks here at TW 50s group, always a chuckle reading thru this!

Any black Friday shoppers out there? Good luck with that shit!

    catch y'all tomorrow night..

It's actually my youngest son's now. I had it as my daily driver then he bought it from me when I bought my Jeep. It's been basically sitting since he joined the Army. I'm thinking about taking it back and doing some more work to it. Change the trans from the 3 speed to an automatic and throw in a Vintage Air ac unit. I still wouldn't drive it much but it would be more drivable. I wore out the 230/6 that was in it then dropped in a 350. Made it easier to pull my old travel trailer.

I'd rather it was original color. It was darker green with the fawn interior but the PO did the paint. This body style is less prone to rust so people are pulling them out of the brush. 67-72 body style had a bad habit of trapping moisture inside the cab about where the rain gutter is and rusting out the roof and down the A pillars. I had 3 or 4 of those. I like that style better but this is a fun truck.

Morning all. Work electrical shutdown today and tomorrow then off to camp. Whoever decided to take entire campus down on a 22 degree morning is insane in the membrane.

I’m working also. Only goid thing about it was almost no traffic driving in this morning. Piddle around all day not completely concerned with how much gets done. Doing a welding job for the shop that doesn’t want me for a welder go figure. Typical

Once in a while I have to.
I try my best but it can get ugly real fast..
The new criteria for doing a good job on someone’s vehicle is giving them something for free.
Doesn’t matter if it’s fixed the first time and saved them a bunch of money.
So if at all possible I’ll never do a good job again.

    Good Morning

It's finally above 32 degrees. Maybe rain tonight, yes I said rain.
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I went to my brother Kevins house. Only about half the family was there. It just wasn't the same with mom being there. Got caught up on the news. Mike and his wife have split up. He got a 2018 Tacoma OR, his first bear and 7pt buck. Kevin and his son did a bear hunt with dogs. They did get one because of another hunter. The guides were not happy. The whole story sounded exciting.
Well, no movement from dogs yet, should get them out.
