Morning

 

Heavy rain, wind this morning.
Inland very heavy snow and lots of power outages...

Lost power for one second early am.
Just enough time to screw up every clock and timer and motion light around the house.

Schools are using up their storm days before winter even gets going.
Some have used 3 already. Yea they won’t be happy going to school next summer..

 

We have 4 neighbors from Maine.
Some come stay with them in winter

 

They must think ya talk funny..

Good morning.

 

Morning kids,1865 days until retirement. Those are calendar days, so I have that going for me.

 

I get to go up and burn burgers and dogs for the volunteers today. It's the season kick off meeting. The season is already going but we wait till after thanksgiving for all the volunteers to get here. Management and law enforcement go over any changes as well as any training that needs to be done. We cook the meat and they bring the rest. The volunteer force is usually around 125 people.

 

We are close Jim, I have 1873 if I set countdown up correctly.

 

Good morning. 10 degrees. Day 28th of 20 degrees below average it isn't funny anymore. Even global warming jokes aren't funny anymore.

Hope she feels better and gets better soon!

That is the same toy or pretty close to it that my dogs have had. Was my oldest sons stuffed animal 30 years ago. And only stuffed animal that Sniper didn't tear up when he was alive, he would pin it then mouth it and his eyes would roll back in his head and he'd go to sleep. Which was great in a tent.



When Nova came along he did the same at first.



Then around the age of two or so one night he decided it was time to totally shred it. I actually miss that thing.
