Ya all know how often those hilift jacks freeze up that you can pour beer on them to unlock them? That could be called alcohol abuse, though it was usually the alcohol that got me into trouble where I needed one to begin with. That was a long time ago.

Still carry one first thing did was rip out the rear seat and build storage for it, and a platform for the dog. Keep them out of the weather and clean and they don't lock up so much.

The dog guards it for me

With limited lift points on modern vehicles they aren't as useful as they once were IMO. If I didn't have sliders as a lift point I would not carry one. Pro tip, if lifting from the side with sliders open your door first so if it gets loose on you it will not dent your door.

Bogart manufacturing makes safety gear for them including lifting gear for the military. I have their base plate and stabilizer guy wire kit for the hilift.

A lot safer to use with it. But kind of defeats the purpose of lifting your rig then rocking it off the hilift when your hi centered. But no longer have to guess which way everything is going to fly when she does cut loose LOL.

Bogart (Safety Jack) also makes bottle jack kits that will lift any vehicle. For just changing out a tire they are a better option with modern vehicles IMO. With the Ranger and trailer I carry a 24" and 30" scissor jack. And a battery powered impact wrench and adapter makes lifting slicker than owl shit. It is what many of the off road racers carry now days.

    Free to good home
I got this in a secret santa box from another forum I am on. I had to look it up to figure out what is was . Why it was in the box with a Pittsburg ratchet..and small butane torch I have no idea . Unless the thought was to throw it in a forge but it is crap steel and chromed chrome is bad juju to heat high enough to forge . It off gasses some pretty nasty chemicals.

Ok.1st gen 4x4, stock, no lift, no goofy shit. What are the alignment and camber numbers to get rid of the slight front end shake at 60-65-ish mph?

    Shake???
    Align don’t work on shakes.
Loose or bent components that amplify a tire, rim condition.
If your chasing a shake do one thing at a time.
