When I renewed my license in Oct they said take a number and someone will be with you in a moment. There were only three of us gettin drivers licenses.

 

Well, when your wife comes out to the University with an insulated picnic bag with dinner hand rolled at home. No Sake while I’m writing though, unfortunately.

My father got his masters of library science there, Southern CT State Univ.

I grew up in the university research library where he worked in Delaware. My dad took me out reading the way some dads take their sons out fishing and hunting. Just as meaningful.

well i had another nice suprise for Christmas.I designed my deer placks and my FIL before he passed was a big woodworker. id go over and he would help me make them. well, im out so his brother got one of mine in the summer i didnt know and made me a dozen that i can finish.

 

Good morning folks. Looks like it's clean up day. Didn't check news or get word from work so it looks like I'm off today. If I had to guess, I'd say till after New Years. Probably the 7th or 8th.

The battery is up on the Harley now so I can finish cleaning it up and maybe put a few miles on it while we're off. Also looking at portable shooting tables. Wife said there's one at Sportsman's Warehouse that's different from the one's we've been seeing.

How many rounds you wanna go ?

 

Well, I was successful in the renewal. However, not without incident. There's an option to allow it to be federally accepted as ID. One would have thought a valid driver's license, birth certificate, social security card, concealed carry pistol permit, FCC issued radio license would verify my identity but oh no of course I needed an additional piece of mail. Vehicle registration came to the rescue. I told the person that I practically had to give DNA for the carry permit but yet I need a piece of mail???

When I renewed mine last I went with the enhanced driver’s license to make it easier to cross back and forth from Canada. Had to provide pretty much everything except for the DNA. Then had to wait for them to mail it to me. She said that part of the security check was that it had to be sent to the address on the license

During bird season on any given day I might be in Canada for a few hours and wouldn't know it unless I look at a GPS. Not like there are any lines drawn in the snow or a fence through the trees and lakes LOL.
