    Morning all

Wind has been howling all night. I can hear the trash bins sliding down the street.

    Then work

Nice I still have the bookmark from Expedition Portal from the first time I saw the bearing slide outs.

Spent 20 years sleeping in coffin racks so could do it if I had to but in the end went with a half shelf so I could sit up.

Well until a couple of years ago. Once I got close to 60 all of a sudden my idea of camping changed.

Shitter instead of an outhouse is a bonus find. As is shower instead of a bucket of hot water and a dipper. But it does come at a cost sometimes quite a bit. And isn't always a cabin to rent where I want to stay. Enjoy the build they are great, but you have to keep pictures coming of the build!

I'm still studying for the test, I have about 2 weeks til I hit the big 5 0. Hopefully you grade on the curve. My knees are pretty well shot so I know I will fail the physical .

Well, slow here at work right now... I'm sure the Idiots will wake up soon...

Thought I would share something as 2018 comes to an end!

Probably one of the most humbling experiences for me for 2018

My Uncle was a Flex Gunner on a B-17G during WWII over Germany, he flew with the Bloody 100th BG 350th BS, out of Thorpe Abbott England, 35 missions over Germany, daylight bomb runs, wounded twice by exploding Flak inside the plane.. Twice he flew all the way home holding one of his fatally wounded friends and crew mates. Flying on the Fortress called "Berlin Playboy".. This last April I got to fly for an hour on the Movie Memphis Belle at our airshow, sitting in the same position as my Uncle did for those 35 missions.

Standing up through the top gunner's hatch flying over central Florida

    upload_2018-12-28_10-20-58.jpg

This would have been my Uncle's office on each mission

    upload_2018-12-28_10-24-21.jpg

I am overwhelmed daily by where our country has ended up, and the current mentality of our citizens! Missing the real men of our greatest generation who are slowly passing quietly among us.
