    Our windshield replacement cost $50, we had Safelight replace em in both the Subaru and the Tacoma a couple times. We have Allstate auto insurance $50 is the deductible on windshields, free ifen they just need to fill a chip.

    Move to Kentucky. Because of the history of coal trucks on the highways, insurance policies in state are required to be no fault/no deductible on glass breakage.

    Az also. We have State Farm, this agent has a "preferred" glass shop. Just take it there, no deductible, windshield is covered in the policy.

    I was on the turnpike in a construction zone and tracked a rock about the size of a pool ball comin from the oncoming lanes. It hit the windshield in my Dodge just below the rear view mirror, bounced off hit the roof and dented it, the windshield had nothing more than a scuff mark on it. I was definitely awake after that.

    51BA75AE-5E3C-477F-AD7A-616616A40CB4.jpg 4D01C7AA-355C-4B08-B6EE-B5D29AFC9EDC.jpg got lucky money wise on the transfer case problem on Dodge. cab shifter floated and engaged nothin and grinding sound. finally got a day off not raining. it was an external linkage between shifter and transfer case. took 10 min to fix. needs proper size e-clip when i get back to work. 1st pic is back in place

    I'm super paranoid around here and get out to inspect the whole window everytime I here the thud of another rock hitting it. Doesn't help this time of year when they sand the roads like crazy. And by sand I mean sprinkle pea gravel around.
