    Not even 1900 yet and the fireworks have already started. My son's dog gets freaked out but so far all she's done is move closer to me. Hopefully she gets through this better than past events.

    my neighbors started the fireworks last night right as i was heading to bed. completely forgot they sell those freaking things this time of year. :rant: at least in July i can head out camping to avoid them!

    no, thankfully. there are designated fireworks stands that you can buy from. and only a couple open this time of year. i have a few neighbors that spend a small fortune every 4th of july and new years

    Luckily I don't have any direct neighbors who light them off. But these guys do spend quite a bit. There's a few packages that go for $200 +. But they're usually a couple streets over, but it still screws with the dog. I just turned on the ceiling fan and covered her with a blanket because she was shaking. She likes the blanket but will overheat without the fan.

    They've been going off here for a while now... surprisingly the girls aren't too upset. Thankfully. Annie's not reacting at all and Zoie is doing ok - not great, but ok

    Welcome to my 4th of July and NYE - fireworks going off for HOURS.

    Only...5...nights a year they are legal here. 7/3-7/5 and 12/30-12/31. I run to the hills in July. Gots no where to go now...but it's currently -1° and dropping so hoping everyone heads indoors soon!

    For those with firework issues with luck that is all they are doing, It would be nice if they only used fire works here in about an hour there will be live fire exercises lol . They don't bother me much unless I am trying to sleep or something. At least they aren't the big ones those are closer to Scuds and such .

    As far as I know they are legal 365 here, but thankfully the stands are only open 14 - 21 days a year.
