I never did a mass talk when I was Forman unless it was like 30 seconds and everyone had to know.
Any issue was done one or one and no one was the wizer
No one else never new anybody else's business.... At least for, me.

Did you convert the A5 to a straight grip? Was wondering if it was a better overall feel for skeet. I know you have a few in the collection.

No not yet, in fact one of the reasons shot it yesterday was to make a final decision about doing it. Still not sure LOL. Cabelas just stopped carrying Herters shells so my cheap 16 ga. shell source just dried up. Don't think I will be using the A5 16 ga. much for clays now just time to time. I do like shooting it both for targets and hunting. But the large pistol grip is good for targets, not so much for all day carry with my wrists and finger joints right now. So on the fence.

Cabelas\Bass Pro merger fallout is still hitting the fan. Cheddite made the Herters line and Cheddite is looking for another distributor in the US.

Sorry to hear that. I remember you having the sweet sixteen shortened to a custom length. Do you hand load any 16 ga?

Yeah the 16 is the only gauge I load for anymore. Up to this point only in 7/8 oz. for my doubles and pumps. The New Sweet needs 1 oz. loads to be happy and work so that is likely in my future. I could buy those 1 oz. Herters cheaper than I could reload. Going to miss them LOL. I do like the shorter 23" bbl. for walking and trying to shoot in the grouse woods. I like how it handles on close fast shots like grouse.

When I worked on the sticks, I'd rather have 15 dry degrees than 35 degrees and a damp Northeast wind off the Atlantic.
That's the most miserable, bone chilling weather IMO.
