Good morning! I guess, another sleeping less night pretty much. Talked to boss yesterday and apologized he was bothered while on vacation about helper. He asked if it was resolved? I told him apparently for now. He said just let him know if guy wasn’t performing he would have him replaced. Lots of changes around here. People retiring or quitting, new replacements, new big boss, reorganization’s in the works. I believe nothing I hear until I see it happen. Have a wonderful day.

 

nice. alot of my friends have Tenn Walkers. they trail ride the mtns.ive gone a few times but im a rookie.love the ride though and im very uncomfortable on them still. the strength and power of a horse when you climb on is amazing. they put me on Peanut. an old mare that stears herself. she neck reigns and is super broke so if i mess up she still does rite!Amazing animals!’this is my bud Big Jim!

I've been riding since I was a kid, the wife on the other hand got into all the "show" things, Western not English, her mare has about $15K worth of training, she does trail class, western pleasure, obstacle course, reining, among other stuff... That's the other wall in the office from all the pile of scrapbook stuff, awards and ribbons.. I'm looking for a couple pics of our mares..

The day you feel totally comfortable on a 1200 Lbs animal is the day you get hurt, just remember that!!

my first ride Jim gave me advice. horse was back stepin and he said its like a car. when you pull the breaks and she does what you want let off the breaks. (give her her mouth back and let off the bit!) his little girl shows at county fairs and brings in tons of awards on a daily rider compeating against dedicated show horses. he has taught her well.

36 degrees now, later today winter comes back.

 

Here ya go @Cypherian and @dewayne, this Overo of mine never looks this white I'd just cleaned her and we were headed out for a ride. As soon as I release her she rolls like a big ass dog in the first pile of mud she can find! The wive's tri-color is almost 40, she's had the old girl since she was 5, mine is 30 now, essentially big ass pets these days.. They are both quarter horse paints and have APHA points as both have dropped gorgeous babies over the years..
