    Good morning friends.

Had a call with a financial planner specializing in college payments. Although we saved as best as we could, the colleges realized that and kept raising tuition (read as extortion)...

He tells me: "only thing I would have suggested is to take out a home equity loan so that you have more debt and you would have been given more grant money..." I guess this is when trying to be financially responsible doesn't pay off.

    @Tacoma Mike
Have you seen replacing axle for neglecting replacing rear seal? Local member had same problem as me and had it done yesterday that’s what they told him if he waited longer?

If all things being equal and correct there is only one thing in my non engineering
(AkA I’m stupid and have no business talking to so called smart people aka engine building pro’s and engineers and professional racers) that it can be.

He needs to change his cam..

    WUT ???

I’m still not quite awake but not understanding how this is worded.

If the axle is grooved in the seal ride area then yes it would need to be replaced.
A bad axle bearing with extra slop would add to issue.
But having a axle ruined by not changing a seal ???
    Never heard of that.
    But..
I don’t have all the info.
    I can’t see the parts.
I can’t talk to the tech or ASM.
    And I’m still half asleep

I went by pic but all they did was seals and shoes.
I remember years ago you could get a different seal or a seal saver like for a yoke. I’m still not in a timeframe where I can tear into mine.

I've dealt with this a long time ago, both the 7.3 IDI Ford Diesel rear main and the Ford 3.8 Supercharged V6 in the Super Coupe harmonic balancers.. Rear main, never had a problem with the sleeves, several hundred thousand miles on it, the Harmonic balancer sleeve worked long enough to get an HBJ aftermarket balancer installed..

    Morning all,

A balmy 46 this morning, cloudy, supposed to be in the 60s today.. Y'all have a great day out there ya her!!

Rain all week, waiting for materials to come in so they can finish the ceiling and then the roof. Another delay. But the big blue tarp is nice.

Yeah I heard Cajon and grapevine are both snowed in. I have no plans to even attempt Cajon.
