At work I have 3 22" HP Monitors but I normally have a dozen or more apps open at once including a few monitoring and alerting ones. Work from home most days and went with a 27" NEC 4K on a swing arm. Distance is 22-24" and anything larger wouldn't work that close. I looked at the 30" and above, 30" would also have worked. Some days think I should have gone larger but for the most part it works for me. Because of distance. Now when it comes to the TV if it is small enough to fit through the front door it obviously large enough :p But my 50" plasma is still kicking, knock on wood.

Or so I keep telling myself. I can almost feel my toes again. Time to go shovel more snow off the deck so I can grill today. Maybe...

Got to bed at 0345, up at 0830....ears are ringing something fierce. That damn jukebox. Not a bad night, not many drunks, no fights. Easy money. I'm just going to do this "on call" when they have events, heavy crowds. I may even do it after the furlough is over. Good stash/toy money.

If you take BP meds you best do so if not might want to have it checked . I know the damn tone gets a little louder if the BP is up. At least mine does.

Not a bad idea. Been thinking the same thing but not sure. Since I'm their first door man, the details are still being worked out. I actually did most of the id checks outside the door so we'll probably move a seat outside and bring a jacket. Just have to be able to see inside and watch the crowd for trouble. So we'll try that. Trying to avoid earplugs if possible. Not crazy about the idea of possibly getting punched in the ear with an earplug in it. If I do, it would definitely be foam plugs.

If you can't build a better mouse trap, just rename it so it sounds different.
