Pension?I wasn’t smart enough to work at a place with one. Still trying to heal the 401k after the crash.

Well I’m the opposite. I have a pension but also an available plan like a 401. I never contributed to the 401 plan because I didn’t plan on staying. I believe I am now though

 

M-Thurs 12 hr nites.nap Fri. mornin then cant adjust for weekend for family. three weeks of it then 6weeks daylite. life of the workin man i guess.

 

they froze our pension yrs ago. bitches!! but i make more now than entry level supv. it would take a few years. they are salary and im hourly now.still thinkin. and ive always put into 401k for 35yrs. i dont trust it at all. one world catasorphy and its gone

 

Man just thinkin of one of @Tacoma Mike post in a sexy voice gives me the creeps. it just dont fit. lol.

35 years worth of 401k investments sounds like a pretty solid strategy. Does the company contribute?

they did,then quit,now they do again but a small amount. were being bought out by our main competitor mid year so will see what they do. they have much better medical plan than us but what happens wont know. buy out has to be approved by the feds first!

Really aint feeling like going to the store so my game time snacks will be Diet Pepsi and roasted garlic Triscuits. Sounds horrible but they are actually pretty good.

Mine does too but I'm up on my meds. I have a a pressure cuff. It was just the loud music and people trying to talk over it. Certain sound ranges, like little kid voices or drunk women, are kinda rough. I usually keep tv volume low so nobody has to talk loud over it. Whenever kids are over they aren't trying to compete with it and it keeps them calmer also.
