I have ringing and voices in my head.
The ringing is race motors and shop air tools.
The voices are the ASM’S asking how much longer and
    I need an answer now......

I've got tinnitus "ringing in the ears " and have had this condition going on 37 years now !! . Got it from listening to fighter jets at MCAS El Toro and also at Camp Pendleton firing a M2 .50cal machine gun with no hearing protection

It doesn’t take much to F up your ears. I have always wore hearing protection. Well almost always.

I have an app on my phone and it surprises me how loud my shop environment is..
To all of us it’s normal.
If we wore hearing protection all the time it would be dangerous.

That's funny. I have ringing in my ears too. Mine is caused by medication.

The voices keep me company on my work commute...

It seems I’m becoming more sensitive to capsaicin with time. Diced up one jalapeño to add to 6 quarts of chili and an hour later the top of bald head starts to sweat. Haven’t even had a taste yet. Guess I need to start wearing gloves when cutting peppers from now on. Never had these things happen years ago.
I was forced to seek treatment by way of ingesting cold beer.
