55 year old employee here dropped over dead with a heart attack last night. His supervisor wrote him up for "leaving early".

    Just WOW.....

    Good Morning All
3 degrees this morning and wind.

Roads were ok last night, except township roads. We didn't get the snow they said we were. Just ice.

Too many people abuse a good thing. It's the company's fault. They didn't follow their own guide lines that they create and allowed too many people take vacation.

About 15 years ago a coworker of mine had a heart attack at work and died on the spot. After 911 was called the supervisor took his badge and clocked him out.

This sure has been a weird winter for the desert southwest. For here it's been cold. There's bridge I cross regularly and it is usually the coldest spot. By now it's usually up in the 40's at sunrise which is typically the coldest part of the day. All week it's been low 30's high 20's. Our high temps should be low 70's. It's all over the range from there down to the high 40's and have had more "mostly cloudy" days than I've seen since I moved here in '13. By now my jacket is usually folded back up and under the back seat. We've even had fog more times than I've seen in the past. Sure, not near "winter" like most of you have but more than we typically see.

    Good morning.

With those temps and fog it sounds like living near Lake Superior in the summer time.

Debating when I want to make my appearance at work since it's all OT today. I'm going to put up an old free standing sunshade at work we brought from our old office. That building is now a church and I need to go by the backdoors and measure the old post spacings so I can get enough concrete to pour a slab. I don't want startle anyone there....
