    Morning
Anti theft device. Should be in the tool bag for the spare tire.
Not there then would have to go to dealer and have them use their set.
Or take a wiz wheel and cut it off. Might have to anyway. Then replace the winch.

it has the star shaped bit in the end of the crank rod and i get it into the place it's supposed to go but when i turn it nothing happens i can't tell if it's just so rusty that it's not letting the bit in far enough to engage or perhaps the winch just not working

Never said don't do the work, just back off on the stuff that stresses the shoulder. You have a lot of years ahead of you and it has to last. Stretch it in the morning if that helps.

That's fine, but I bet they won't fire you for going a little slower at first.

I say this because at 91 my Mom is still mentally with it but because of an ankle injury 40 years ago, that she didn't take care of, she needs a walker and can't get around just because of the stupid ankle. She was raised not to complain about aches and pains but I bet she wishes she took care of the ankle early.
Anyway, Good morning, we have great weather for a change 80s and blue skies, nothing but blue sky's do I see...

Cold weather slows me down and I can barely move .Also my knee replacement acts as a weather indicator
