I've got a pretty good wife. She doesn't help with the snow, much. She did help cut the grass one day last year.

wow,you guys are really gettin a dose of the white stuff!normal year or do you always get snow like that?

 

Unfortunately normal. And even that 30 below zero cold a couple weeks ago was no where near a record.

Few years back had 18" of snow in May that was a record for May. Normally snowfall is heavy in March and April. Can also be ice instead. Which reminds me time to order some more ice melt.

 

I guess we felt left out with the whole hurricane thing, we now rate the storms that tap into the atmospheric 'river' this one is a 3 out of 5.

Yep the Atmospheric River is coming from Hawaii !!! , they're also getting heavy rain squalls , flash flood warnings and extreme surf warnings

 

inch an hour is alot of rain,no being dumb but what is the atmospheric river? like the jet stream?

 

Just got back from the DMV and got my Real I.D ,only took an hour and was surprised at how quiet it was there . I guess the 1 hr drive EA way was worth it compared to offices in large urban areas

Now the weather wasn't that bad when I left but on the way back home on I-15 I've never seen it rain so hard and the winds were very strong . It was strong enough to almost blow me off the highway and semi trucks were almost being blown over while driving

Even my truck struggled to even maintain 60mph on flat level ground and the transmission downshifting like crazy


There's flooded streets everywhere and even I -15 has ponding water

Happy Valentines Day , I’m in the dog house. BECAUSE I FORGOT VALENTINES DAY THIS IS GOING TO COST ME THIS WEEKEND. I work to many damn hours.

I had flowers delivered to the house on Mon cause my wife was workin at home.
