Good morning. We got about an inch or two of sleet overnight. Plow driver went around the neighborhood all night. Sounded like he was going 60. Hitting every bump...

No strip no need to roof has not failed . I ended up going mechanical fasten system. I really wanted standing seam for the strength increase but cost increase was not worth it . ;(

I took time off too be here today and tomorrow if I have to to take another day oh well ;) .

Morning. Well County pickup truck a 2500 went by with a little plow on the front. It is a dead end and he hasn't come back out yet. But they are saving money. Have a feeling they are going to have to send a real truck to get his ass out. At some point I need to clear the drive. So it can snow more tomorrow and fill it back in.

If not on the same page we were at least in the same book yesterday. I use medium spice ground sausage did 2 lbs. Had a head of garlic but some of the cloves had started to sprout so went through the whole thing to get a few cloves, powdered would have worked too.

Browned the meat then let it simmer of an hour. Took half out for spaghetti sauce today. Have a large bag of Italian meatballs in the freezer to put in it and will also use off the shelf sauce that I tweak. Meatballs are from Costco and good but not as good as the more expensive ones from one of the small grocery stores. Once the Costco bag is gone will go back to those.

The other half that I left in the pot added ketchup, mustard, Worcester sauce, spices including chili mix, and simmered down for another hour.

Put on top of a couple of Hebrew National beef hot dogs with cheddar. My son ate the rest as sloppy joes. Wish I would have made more now.
