    Cold and gray day here on this Presidents Day. Since we didn't go to work we decided to make a batch of mulled wine to ward off the damp cold. Not sure how it'll taste but the house smells great.

    I like a "tin" roof but they aren't common around here on houses. Most of the newer houses have tile and the older ones are comp shingles.

    The weather guessers said clear skies and 42° , walked into store came back outside a few min later and it's snowing !! :notsure:


    When I got to the store I could see dark clouds over the North slope and the temp was alot colder than 42°


    Yes it does snow in the High Desert !!!!

    Evening. were lookin at 6+ of snow then sleet then up to 1/4in ice tommorow nite.off Wed and Thurs. so should be good here. need some non ethanol gas for the 4 wheeler though!!

    Good evening folks. Spent the day reading up on the Roxor and watching the Last Alaskans.

    @Cold Iron, it really looks like, if the Roxor was even remotely on your list, you still made the best decision. I still want one but it really wouldn't do what you do the way you're doing it. I am still going to have to do a few mods to it but I'm still going to give it a couple more years so they can get the bugs out and expand distribution. I'm not thrilled about the thought of going to Phoenix for anything.

    We put a metal roof on our house about 10 years ago. It looks pretty much the same as when we did it. With some luck, it will be the last roof on my house while I'm still breathing.
