I'm not too car knowledgable. My friends son in law bought it to piddle with. He wants me to give it a faux patina. That starts Wednesday. I do know it has 3sp in the column, no power anything. I'm going to get it from him tomorrow. I really look forward to driving it. Have not driven a 3sp in the column since I was 16.
I think he said he paid $1600 for it. He is a mechanic and it's just something on the side for him to do.
Ya'll may not care for this, but this is the look we are going for.

I like the paint, don't care for the lowered part. He's 27 and that's his thing.

I just text him. He said it has the original everything. 352 v8. He also said and I quote "I have the paperwork from the original owner and I'm gonna fuck it all up". End quote.

 

Those trucks always looked like the frame was sagging..
They could have done something different with the chrome trim.

 

That happens tomorrow.

 

I'd pull that 352 out and put 427 sideoiler with tunnel port heads and intake !!!

 

I have no idea what that means but hell yeah!

Just makes it easy to change when they pop out like that.

 

pop out in pieces. lots of shops wont even change them. better have a bit and eazyout handy

 

No kidding. I was with a friend in his V10. Cruising along, nothing going on, an boom. Big noise, pulled over and was like WTF. Took it to a shop and the guy didnt even want to hear it running and said a plug has blown out and he was right. They even make a kit to repair the the threads.
We had the truck back the next day and the tech said don’t worry if another one blows out and maybe if you plan on keeping this, to buy the kit to do the repair...

 

Easy fix just replace with aftermarket cyl heads from AFR or Dart , no more issues !!!
