This is a 2 step or launch control depending where it's set to allows for full throttle launches

We have some Canadians singing the blues. Some came across the border early and now they have to start heading back in all that cold/ice/snow/yuck. In the next 30 days this place will be a lot quieter.

All the newer perfomance cars in the last 5-7 years have had factory installed launch controls . Also only manual trans cars only run 2 steps to launch and a auto trans runs a transbrake and 2 step

My Camaro has a 2 step but only use it at the track when on the transbrake !!!!!

With a transbrake when engaged it locks 1rst and reverse together and you can rev it as high of rpm as you want and it will not move until the switch is released . Now adding a 2 step with it does allow full throttle launch with the 2 step rev limiter engaged . Also we usually set the 2 step rev limiter at about 200rpm below the stall speed of the converter . Doing this gets the motor into its powerband quicker

Also what's a 2 step ?? ....... a 2 step is a ignition rev limiter with two rpm settings . One being launch rpm and the max safe limit rpm

They now have a 3 step from MSD Ignition which I'm looking to get . This has 3 rpm rev limiter settings, burnout box rpm , launch rpm and max rpm

2nd gen Camaro using the 2 step with a transbrake !!!

I'm starting to realize how much it cost them to keep that place back home heated so the pipes don't freeze and also pay to have snow and ice cleared. And check on the house. Not cheap.

But right now thinking would be SO WORTH IT!!

Got a call from one of my Docs today. On Monday thought was getting an A1C blood draw because of fasting. Forgot all about the tumor in my renal glands they can't do a biopsy on and are doing blood work every 6 weeks to make sure it is benign. He said looking good yet and he is leaning toward benign. But he is talking to another specialist about bone stuff now from the results and will call me back, he asked me a bunch of questions. CRS can be a good thing when you get older, can't believe I forgot all about the tumor and blood tests they told me they would do every 6 weeks. The joint pain not so much. Wish it would go away and I could just forget about it.

No. That's some of the local talent from a near-by town across the river about 3 1/2 years ago. A real idiot.

    20150723_132108.jpg

This was his futile attempt to pull himself out with the help of a battery he stole out of my dozer then couldn't figure why it wouldn't work using speaker wire from the winch to the battery. His first flash of brilliance was driving a prerunner down a hill he couldn't climb back up. His 2nd was thinking it would get traction in a muddy shoreline and that water wouldn't slow it down. There's more to the story but that's the main parts.
