    Top O' the Mornin' friends!

Boat made it into the garage yesterday for some much needed cleaning and repair. Over the years with it not being used, mice, spiders, and some bees decided to move in. Only things I found still moving were spiders. Looked like black widows without the markings! Soooo, a can of raid fogger to the rescue. I'm in the process of opening the compartments, pulling out the foam blocks, and giving it a good cleaning. Meanwhile, the keel rebuild is underway in the basement. This time, no materials that cannot rot will be used...

Wife and I finish dinner together - especially if it entails the grill. She's home well before I am so she starts it. Afterwards, I'm on KP.

That Linda Vaughn certainly had big ones (no, not those, the other ones) to speed down a race track on the trunk lid of a car holding onto a pole!

Good morning. Work today, day 1 of solar rebuild. Let's see how long it takes. I think tomorrow I'm picking up 14 more batteries. They're installed in sets of 4 and we already have 2...those damn things are heavy. I gotta see how Interstate palleted them so I know how many trips it'll take.

Yeah screw that i want to eat. Or marriage has been a partnership from the get go. Whoever gets home first cooks. I used to work with an older guy from WV he said his wife got up everymorning to make him bisquits and pack his lunch i thought it was stupid. He asked me why didn't my wife pack me lunch? I told him my wife has to go to work as well why should i expect that of her i dont pack her lunch.

Morning everyone, it’s still cold out but spring is trying to push old man winter out. 21* currently, 40* later today. I won’t put the snow blower away for a few more weeks, maybe mid April.

Eat or starve. My wife's and my work schedules have rarely matched up. She's worked grocery stores since before we were married and has done a lot of mid and closing shifts. I'm usually up well before sunrise and out the door. I'm the dinner cook well over 90% of the time. Sometimes she fends for herself if I make something she doesn't like. Sometimes she goes to Denny's after work with coworkers. Dinner has never been an issue with us.

I've never played with a dutch oven but need to add it to my resume.

I had an area at last place, an old ac slab with cinder blocks around 3 sides for wind. Was a good Dutch oven site. I’m doing cleanup here may just set up same. I hauled it here with me.

I have an elaborate brick/stone outdoor kitchen idea in my head I've been playing with since we bought the house that a dutch oven has never been a thought for but will definitely accommodate....some day...
