When I had a boat, I fished heavy until Memorial Day, then slowed a bit until Labor Day. In between, while it was summer "in season" , all the little kids with their Snoopy poles would beat the shit out of the water....and screw up fishing

Summer meant fewer trips but to more remote lakes.

Then I got married again which meant sell the boat...

The console has big spider cracks
I had a Exon Valdez’s on the back deck replaceing my oil injector hoses.
    All wrinkled now.
    Carpet faded.
It has seen one rain storm.
It sits ready to go in the garage in the summer.
Once every few years the toy box has a spare space so I can put it inside.
But mostly it sits like this in the winter.
    Double wrapped.

    I don’t like glass boats.
My places i fish would tear the hull apart.
Rocks and tree scraping. The landings are dirt and rock.
Plus I want something I can handle quickly and move around without the truck.
I just push it around the drive.
I have had more people try to follow me and not end up well.
I have saved rangers, lunds, other trackers, pontoon boats.
    It’s not impressive.
    32mph
    Poor mans bass boat.
    But I have fun...

    Morning.
    16 warm degrees.
    Crazy..
I still want to be out on the boat by the end of next month.
I just want to start doing stuff outside.
I remember it being warmer years ago and going fishing
around April 1 at the pond down the street with my boy.
Good news is I have my licenses.
When I pull the boat out I’ll register boat and trailer
    After I prep it.
Thanks to some of you I am now in full blown spring fever.
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Co worker going home today with 3 stents in his heart.
Was suppose to go home tomorrow..
Texted him glad he was doing good enough to go home early
And it saved me gas money so I didn’t have to go see his ugly face tonight.

    Be safe today my friends..
Another day older and deeper in debt....
    The American way...

Carol comes with me if I’m not doing the early bird..
She likes it and helps with the boat lines.
She doesn’t fish but reads and says oooooo and ahhhhh at my catches weather big or small.
