Humble, dust in my eyes, bragging moment.
I sometimes lose faith with millennials and the next Gen with their stupid tidepod eating, bizarre behaviors.

Then, every once in a while, something you do or say, really does make a difference, and you don’t even see it coming.

Last week, a group of 6 from Mizzou took an ‘alternative spring break’ trip to Zion to do volunteer work. I worked with them for 3 of the 4 days and then had them stay over at my home on their last night, cooked them dinner, showers, laundry etc.

They left a week ago. Today, I got this... I feel like I’ve been cutting onions all afternoon.
(As a funny side thought, this bright gal is majoring in agricultural communications ((Yes, that’s a thing)) so maybe she’s just really good at bullshit. )

I was being sincere! So a compliment.

When my wife and I first met, she could stay afloat but that’s about it. I told her that needed to change for her own safety. You just never know what life is gonna bring you! I must say she has made me quite proud. When we were in St. Martin last time...we actually swam across to the small island (about a mile across) together! We had a blast!

 

Impressive! Glad you had safe travels and thanks for doing what you do!

 

I know it’s my fault. I just needed to vent. Just got sick of the tech bashing..
But boy the meds are doing wonders for my complexion.

Congrats on new corolla mike. I couldn’t get out of wife’s corolla and was almost out of warranty so got a Subaru instead. Last Corolla transmission started slipping right out of warranty so ditched it fast.

 

Finally rounded up most of my brake parts,seals and axle hub orings. Need gear oil,brake fluid,and a case of brake clean.
