    Depending on the type of oak, depends on the life span. Water Oaks are only good to about 100 years, now I was reading about a different type of oak the other day that was between 50 and 60 years to death and when they die, they just fall over. We had two water oaks and both went within a few years of each other and they were full of termites as well. The tree doctor told me that they become more susceptible to termite as they get older... Our water oaks where just over a 100 years old.

    @Tacoma Mike
    My rear springs just started squeaking out of the blue a couple of days ago. Ive been under the truck and all looks good.
    Should I just spray some teflon spray or WD40 on them and be good?
    I have 118k on the truck

    Morning everyone,

    Great day yesterday, picked 9 pounds of fresh blueberries then took the pup to her first Corgi Beach Party! Learned I could walk on sand, I like water, I can swim!, there are a ton of other little short legged dogs that look like me.. And I don't have to be afraid of them! Had a great time, then Mom and Dad stopped at this place called Chik-filet and we had a picnic in the bed of the truck, waffle fries are awesome! Then Mom and Dad let me take a nap on the bed with them..

    Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

    Don't do it. You'll be a slave to the lawnmower for 6 months!

    It's Texas. New Mexico is nice driving too. Once you hit Tuscon it turns back to idiots and gets worse till you get past Casa Grande unless you stay on I-10 towards Phoenix it's still idiots. I-8 from there isn't bad mostly because there isn't much traffic so the "idiot per mile ratio" goes down immensely .

    I hate Phoenix. Right in the middle of it all is the "stack" where all the freeways cross over one another. Totally unnecessary.

    ...and El Paso...that place is just one huge ball of stress to me. When I first drove through there in the mid 80's they had just started doing construction. Now 30 years later it still hasn't stopped. If we had flying cars that place would just be a ball of fire from all the crashes.

    Awesome news on your Dad !!!

    I remember back in 1985 the 10 fwy and the I -17 were the only freeways and the when I lived in Scottsdale it took close to 45 min drive down Scottsdale Blvd to reach the 10 fwy just to get to Chandler Ariz

    Between 0730 and 1830, Mon thru Fri, it'll take all of that plus on the freeway with all the traffic now.

    When I first started going to Phoenix (9 years ago) traffic didn't really start picking up till you got just east of Goodyear. Now Buckeye is a sprawling metropolis and traffic gets busy west of it. 9 years ago Buckeye was a wide spot with a gas station and a dilapidated mobile home.
