We have had people come in during a bad storm from out of state for their free oil change. She shop is locking up and he comes in. A foot of snow on the car. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Hi Mike, I agree. I used Black Satin and I'm very happy with the results. Have fun and Enjoy the upcoming Hunting Season.

That's good News ! It's a nice feature to Have! I like messing with the Ultra Gauge! A member helped me with the code for Transmission Pan Temperature. It's a neat Gadget!

Yea I took mine out when I checked my trans level. Put it back in and threw abs codes. Took it back out and it's been sitting in my glove box. I had the refresh rate to fast...

Excuse my ignorance but I'm not sure what you mean about having a fast refresh rate. Is like a ECM reboot? :anonymous:

    Well.
The bus is communication. The ecu's all talk on these 2 wires. The refresh rate is how often the gauge checks the communications. If the refresh rate is to fast it actually steals the ability for the ecu's to talk and the ecu's can actually go dumb. Kinda like poking someone in the cheek. Once a day is no big thing.
You start doing that every 5 seconds the person is going stop doing what he doing. He might beat the snot out of you but like the ecu's they get annoyed and just stop working. The abs ecu for some reason is more open to this and will just stop communicating. Pull out the gauge, clear the code and status normal again. Easiest way I can explain it in my own way.
